“I entered the and got to know people because we went on demos. People find it very hard to understand the because you didn’t join, you didn’t have a card, you didn’t have membership, you just went to things. There was a group of women in Birmingham who were radical who spent hours churning out newsletters which were shoved through the letterbox, that’s how you knew what was happening."
