Lesbian singers and musicians in Birmingham

Several of our contributors were, or referred to, women singers, musicians and groups.

These included Rubyfruit, Cuckoo's Nest, and the Women's Big Band.

Rubyfruit wrote or modified lyrics to a number of songs which were used as a political tool. The Birmingham Lesbians' Song is remembered by several people.

The Women's Liberation Songbook was produced in 1977
