Pam moved to live above a pub – The Three Mile Oak in West Bromwich (no longer there) - with her first long term partner and two gay male friends.
“We used to hold gay evenings on a Wednesday night in the upstairs bar (of the Three Mile Oak in West Bromwich) – Noelle Gordon used to come to those too. We needed residency in West Bromwich to get a flat in Handsworth” where they then moved.
