Gay, Lesbian and Womens press and publications
December 1970
Over the years numerous national and local publications have come and gone which are produced by, and aimed at lesbians, gay men, and women (in the context of the Women's Liberation Movement).
These have often been an invaluable source of information and views, stimulating debate and discussion, and information about groups and events.

Since around 2004, various email groups such as Birmingham Girls and the Birmingham Pride Community Trust e-information group have grown in popularity as a means of circulating information and publicising events, as have LGB groups on networking sites such as Facebook
