It's a Knockout


"Birmingham's "" originated in the Grosvenor house Hotel. It was the against the , I think when that happened, the Nightingale was still in Aston (pre-1981). This became the precursor to Pride, so the Grosvenor started off in our gardens, in the mid seventies, then Nightingale took it over from us when John and I sold the Grosvenor in 1983/4, they were in by then and they used the back of what is now , in the car park, that's where they used to hold the games."
