My big family of Rainbow Voices

1999

Pam has been a tenor in for 8 years.
“I’d never heard of them () till I sang in the University Choir and met John who was in and eventually persuaded me to join. It’s a very good place, and does a lot of good. I’ve seen it develop to what we have now; we have a great gay following and have become quite an icon in Birmingham, which is where we should always have been, not tucked in a church but out in the gay community. Personally I found, when I split with Steph and when I had my heart attack, they’re a very supportive group, it’s like having a big family, I was never without visitors from the choir when I was in hospital, it’s an excellent organisation”.
