Meetings at the Women's Centre, mid-70s
1976
Gill: “We were also marginally involved in the [Women’s Liberation
Movement], who had rented a house on Brighton Road and it was used as a
Women's Centre until Birmingham City Council got wind that this house
was being used as something that it shouldn’t be.”
B: “I remember going there quite often for various things. The Women's
Liberation Conference that was held in Birmingham (1978) was organised
from there, I went to one of the planning meetings.”
