International Women's Day
March 1908 to March 2018
Established in 1908, the 8th March each year is designated as International Women's Day and is celebrated to a greater or lesser degree across the world. Paricularly during the 1980s there were a number of events centred around the day or a short period around it, and lesbians in Birmingham recall the events, and mostly, the invisibility of lesbians as a group.
