Howards Bar

February 1949 to February 1965

Howards Bar colloquially known as ‘Robbie's’ after the landlady who ran it and situated opposite Snow Hill Station, the upstairs lounge was very popular with gay men in the 1950s. Demolished in the 1960s for the Inner Ring Road development.
