The Royal Court of Campania
December 1966
The Royal Court of Campania was an honours system invented by Laurie Williams and Peter Scott-Fleeman, aka 'Ada', and given to people who had made an outstanding contribution to the gay scene. Laurie and Peter were part of one of the ‘in’ groups of gay Birmingham in the 1960s and were instrumental in opening the Nightingale.
