Homosexual Friends Fellowship (Quakers) set up

May 1974

The Homosexual Friends Fellowship was set up within the Quakers. A Birmingham (Hall Green) man, Michael Hutchinson, one of the founders, in 1974. He has since moved up within the Quakers to hold a significant position. It later changed its name to the Quaker Lesbian and Gay Fellowship.

There is a Midlands branch.

There is also (nationally) an older lesbian group called 'Moveable Feast' and another Quaker lesbian group.
